President Donald Trump on Wednesday retweeted a string of inflammatory videos from a fringe British political group purporting to show violence being committed by Muslims.

Re: “Trump stokes anti-Muslim sentiment; censured here and abroad,” Nov. 29 news story.

After President Donald Trump retweeted unverified anti-Muslim videos to his millions of followers, the White House press secretary said that whether or not the videos are real, “the threat is real” — referring to a perceived threat of violence by Muslims. By the way, most of these videos have been debunked as falsely characterized or altered.

The overwhelming majority of Muslims are honest, caring, hard-working people. There are a few bad apples in every bunch. If Muslims are such a “threat,” why not do something about about the “threat” of Christians in America who commit mass murder against fellow citizens, using mass-casualty firearms that are all too easily obtained by violent and mentally unstable individuals? Daily news, history and statistics indicate that the latter threat is a greater, real and current threat to American lives.

How much is enough? Donald Trump and the right-wing extremists are trying to create hate and violence around the world. These videos need to be discredited in all public media sources. With the firings of the public personalities, why isn’t Trump getting more attention? I don’t understand why we tolerate this from the most important position in the world. It’s time for everyone to speak up and call for his resignation.
