Functional size in a home is a matter of how many square feet of finished space it delivers, but also the bedroom-bath count. A big house can offer just a couple of bedrooms; but Re/Max Professionals agent Dana Goldfarb will show you one after the game Dec. 3 with six bedrooms plus a bonus room, seven baths, lots of entertaining area, a huge study and a three-car garage. Off Parker Road in a wedge-shaped tier of neighborhoods called Huntington Estates, it has a Denver address, but it’s not in the City of Denver.
Open Dec. 3 from 2 to 5 p.m., 2023 S. Chester Court was built in 2007 by custom builder Jim Latsis. Its 7,600 finished square feet include four bedrooms up, each with its own en-suite bath; a fifth bedroom suite on the main level, and a sixth in the finished basement, adjacent to a pool room (table is included) and a media area with wet bar and wine shelving. Coming into the holidays, Goldfarb has it priced at $1.595 million — $20,000 off from when it came on the market in October. With a look at comparables in Denver city neighborhoods a few miles northwest, she says you’ll find a considerable savings in cost-per-foot. “For the square footage you’re getting so much more house.”
The large master is upstairs across from the kids’ suites, with fireplace, private balcony, jetted tub, separate walk-in steam shower and his-and-her vanities, plus a makeup vanity. You’ll see an entry created around half-circle staircases in wrought iron, opening to a formal dining room beyond under faux-finished recessed ceilings. There’s a large family room with its own custom faux finishes; an elaborate study; and by way of a private back staircase, that upstairs bonus area. Goldfarb, who will have coffee and cookies out, points up the maple hardwood floors, hardwood trim around windows and doors, and a kitchen with granite counters. “This is a cul-de-sac with just five custom homes,” she adds. To reach her open house from Denver, head southeast from Colorado Boulevard on Leetsdale Drive and continue for four miles (it becomes Parker Road). Continue just past E. Jewell Avenue and watch for Jewell Circle on the right, then turn south a half block to Chester; or call Goldfarb at 303-888-3802.
