Joe Biden, who is in town to promote his new book with a Denver speech Saturday, stopped at Denver International Airport on Thursday to get a shoeshine while on his way into the city.

Airport spokesman Heath Mongtomery confirmed the shoeshine stop.
“I’m told the former Vice President appeared at Executive Shine around 2:30 p.m. (Thursday) on the B Concourse,” Montgomery said. “We were glad to hear he had a great experience.”
Biden on Saturday night is speaking at the Paramount Theatre downtown as part of a 19-city tour to promote his memoir, “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose.” (Tickets can be found here.)
